This class was created in celebration of Moretti’s centennial anniversary. Of the seven cars, two traveled from out of the country while the other five came from different areas within the United States. On Concours Sunday, all cars were judged apart from one exhibited car.
Below is a look back at the First, Second and Third in Class winners.
First in Class: 1954 Moretti 750 Gran Sport Berlinetta

The First in Class winner was the 1954 Moretti 750 Gran Sport Berlinetta. This car was a product of Moretti’s aspirations for the Gran Sport coupe that began in 1954. Prior to its participation in the Concours this year, this car had never before been publicly shown. Given its intense eight years of racing history, the car was restored over a four-year span, carefully refurbishing its original parts. In 2020, it was painted with its 1955 Glendale race color scheme. It stands as one of just three similar Berlinettas constructed by Moretti in 1954.
Second in Class: 1954 Moretti 1200 Gran Sport Rocco Motto Berlinetta

The Second in Class winner was the 1954 Moretti 1200 Gran Sport Rocco Motto Berlinetta. This car is believed to be one of nine built, and it is one of only four surviving examples and the sole vehicle in fully restored and running condition. It was submitted for restoration in 2010—a process that took eight years to complete.
Third in Class: 1955 Moretti Spyder 750 Mota Michelotti Spyder

The Third in Class winner was the 1955 Moretti Spyder 750 Mota Michelotti Spyder. This Moretti is a jewel of a car! It is thought to have spent its early life in Europe and participated in various club-level road rally competitions. It was restored in Australia to its original charm after a full two years and then imported back to the United States and now stands as just one of 18 cars in the Moretti register today.
