BMW – Klasse: See it on our 2026 Concept Lawn
August 15, 2026
The BMW M Concept Neue Klasse ignites a bold new chapter for BMW M, as an electrifying vision of the brand’s all-electric future, where expressive design and next-generation performance converge.
Its refined design language combines powerful proportions, precise lines, and a muscular stance with signature cues including flared wheel arches, a forward-leaning shark nose, and a seamless kidney grille-and-headlight graphic. Distinctive M Yellow Lights and sculptural Track Lights reinforce its motorsport DNA, while every surface follows a clear principle: form serves performance by supporting aerodynamics, cooling, and high-speed stability. At its core, the concept signals a major leap in BMW M development. The concept debuted at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and makes its North American debut amidst Car Week.

The new BMW M eDrive is based on BMW Gen6 Neue Klasse technology and was developed specifically for fully electric high-performance applications. Two drive units on the front and rear axles, four electric motors, and the central control software M Dynamic Performance Control work together in the high-performance computer Heart of Joy—enabling integrated, wheel-specific control of the drivetrain and braking system. Inside, a highly driver-focused cockpit anchored by BMW Panoramic iDrive delivers clarity, control, and an immersive performance experience.

Bridging heritage and innovation, the concept remains unmistakably M—rooted in motorsport, reimagined for an electrified era, and poised to set an exhilarating new benchmark for performance.
